No, in the State of New Hampshire, you do not need a prescription to receive physical therapy. However, if you plan to file through your insurance for reimbursement, they may require one. We're happy to help guide you through the process.
MovementPRO Physical Therapy is a fee-for-service practice. At MovementPRO, you receive undivided attention from a Doctor of Physical Therapy for your entire session. Our therapists are also certified strength coaches and athletes themselves, giving them a unique ability to identify and correct faulty movement patterns that contribute to orthopedic injuries. We use advanced techniques like Graston, Dry Needling, Cupping, and STIMPOD therapy to deliver faster, longer-lasting results.
Every patient is different. Some people see significant improvement in 4-6 sessions, while others with chronic or complex conditions may benefit from longer-term care. During your free phone consultation, we'll discuss your specific situation and give you a realistic timeline based on your goals.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows easy access to the area you're having treated. For example, shorts for knee or hip issues, and a tank top or loose-fitting shirt for shoulder or back injuries. We want you to be able to move freely during your assessment and treatment.
