Kate is a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for helping athletes at all levels achieve their goals and return to their sport stronger than ever. She holds a Master's degree in physical therapy from Charles University in the Czech Republic, which has been certified as equivalent to the U.S. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. In addition, Kate is certified in Dry Needling and is recognized as a Pain Free Performance Specialist (PPSC).
As a lifelong skier and instructor, Kate brings a unique, specialized expertise to her practice. Before relocating to the U.S., she earned the highest level of professional ski instructor certifications (APUL A and NZSKI Telemark level 3) while spending winters in Japan and New Zealand, where she taught all levels of alpine and telemark skiing. This experience provided her with an in-depth understanding of the biomechanics involved in snow sports, allowing her to offer expert guidance on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement for skiers of all disciplines.
Kate also possesses a deep appreciation for the demands of endurance sports, particularly running. She combines her clinical skills with her personal experience in the sport to assist runners in overcoming injuries, optimizing their form, and building resilient bodies capable of handling the rigors of training and racing.
With her Master's level degree in physical therapy from Charles University, Czech Republic, Kate has found her calling in working with clients in the U.S. and has furthered her expertise with certifications in Dry Needling. Continuing to share her passion, she coaches at Crotched Mountain, NH.
