Kate is a physical therapist with a passion for helping athletes of all levels achieve their goals and return to their sport stronger than before. Holding a Master's degree in physical therapy from Charles University in the Czech Republic, her education has been certified as equivalent to the U.S. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Kate is certified in Dry Needling and as a Pain Free Performance Specialist (PPSC).
As a lifelong skier and instructor, Kate brings a unique, specialized expertise to her practice. Prior to moving to the U.S., she acquired the highest level of professional ski instructor certifications (APUL A and NZSKI Telemark level 3). Following winters between Japan and New Zealand, she taught all levels of alpine and telemark skiing, gaining an in-depth understanding of the biomechanics of snow sports. This extensive background allows her to provide expert guidance on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement for skiers of all disciplines.
Kate has a deep appreciation for the demands of endurance sports, particularly running. She combines her clinical skills with a personal understanding of the sport to help runners overcome injuries, optimize their form, and build resilient bodies that can handle the rigors of training and racing.
